Yesterday Ms Cutler gave me and my maths group some equations to work out.
These are the two strategy's I used to work some of them out.
Like 6.5+4.2=10.7 (Strategy one) 6.0+4.0 = 10. Then 0.5+0.2=0.7. Add the two together and you get 10.7
Now 8.2+5.1=. (Strategy two) 82+51=133 so it is 13.3
